With the debauchery of the Christmas period over, let me take the opportunity to say a Happy New Year to you all!

I'm already back to work, and I had the pleasure of a photoshoot with the wonderful Britney Lee on Sunday. You'll probably be seeing more of the results soon, but I've already got three examples up here.... [link]

Well, I didn't think I could top the camp factor of last years' Xmas portrait, but somehow against all the odds, I've done it!

So here's my official Christmas self portrait for 2008. I'm revisiting the original little helper character from Christmas 2005, (Which is now in a book! [link] ) and adding a little spice from the past three years of my life.

My work is appearing in Black Sheep production's second exhibition of up-and-coming artists, at the Phoenix Centre, Glasgow. (UK)

The opening will be on Friday 12th Dec 6pm-10pm. There will be entertainment and nibbles. If you're in the area, why not bring yourself, bring a friend or two, and come to Glasgow's newest art space for an exciting exhibition of new art from unknown talent. (I appreciate this is a bit short notice, but it was also a bit short notice for me too. You'll get a bit more notice next time. )

The Phonenix Centre is easy to find: just go down St James road from the Royal Infirmary, and look for the building that looks like an old school, and that'll be it. Here's the link from Google Maps.

After the opening the works will be on display for about a month, so there's plenty of time for all you Glasgow people to get on down there.

Feels like I've been away for years. Actually, it's only really been a month and a bit. I've been quite busy, what with my day job, doing photography for Utter Gutter ( [link] ) , and also the small matter of taking part in National Novel Writing Month in November ( [link] ).

Oh, and getting my stuff ready for an exhibition- but more about that on a seperate journal...
